So last night the temperatures here in Churchill stayed above zero last night. This contributed to the continued melt of snow overnight. Snow + watery slush + quad = exciting commute for Carley to get home from work and to work this morning (see photo below for quad parking). Good thing she left early this morning and... rain pants and rubber boots are required travel gear. It also rained sporadically during the evening and night to contribute to the snowy slush on the ground.

The new building progression continues. The trailer in the front is the construction office. Photo taken from the existing CNSC roof April 15, 2010. You can see the snow cover in behind the building is still fairly continuous but there is lots of water.
The forecast over the weekend is for more normal temperatures and back to the northwest wind.
