And then there were three...

Who doesn't remember the great Genesis hit "Follow You Follow Me"? The year was 1978 and Steve Hackett had departed the band, leaving them a re-organized trio and they released this album... "And then there were three..."? Okay maybe some of you don't, and I digress, but I've been resisting the urge all week to use the album title for the blogpost but finally gave in. So we have three researchers for our "summer team" that have arrived at the Centre. It's great to have a few friendly faces in the returning bunch that are here and the CNSC staff look forward to the rest of the crowd arriving over the coming months.

Yesterday we finally received some of the much-anticipated sunshine weather. So we took advantage of the great weather and had our first firearms and polar bear safety training for the summer season. Great job on the target practice to all!! We had a great time at the range and even managed to get a bit of science done on the side.


Here's Krista and LeeAnn retrieving the datalogger off of the lake next to the gun range. It's definitely time to get it off the ice before the weather in this forecast arrives...
