Countdown to Kuz - 4 more sleeps!

The indoor habitat of the CNSC research staff is often similar to outside in terms of the gear required and the general conditions but we usually try to contain the research staff chaos to our corner of the small lab. It's been different having several desks unoccupied since Adam is working in the City and Kat left for school....


But now it's countdown to Kuz time! 4 more sleeps and Sara arrives as our Seasonal Research Technician for the next 4ish months. It will be great to have her at the Centre - welcome back!


Although the temperatures have been below freezing for most of yesterday and today, the majority of the snow melted away in the previous few days of warmth.



Here's a picture of the open area south of the A frame on Launch Road. Several of the ponds are now open, although some of the deeper ones still have ice cover on them.
